Maoist stream parties are holding a meeting at Baluwatar today after two writ petitions were filed at the Supreme Court against CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' over the insurgency era case.

The meeting has been called at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar this morning.

This is the second time Maoist leaders are gathering at Baluwatar to dwell on how to deal with the situation created following the filing of the writ petitions.

Earlier, a meeting of various parties and groups of the Maoist stream held on March 7, had decided to oppose and confront any activities that go against the words and spirit of the Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA).

The top Maoist leaders associated with the then Maoist party during the People's War held a meeting at the Prime Minister's official residence at Baluwatar and decided to move forward with a single voice, concluding that activities against the Peace Accord started to surface in recent days.
