The parties of the Maoist side, standing together, are issuing a joint appeal today, following the writ petition filed in the Supreme Court against the Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda'.
They are going to hold a joint press conference today, saying that they are going to raise a conflict-era issue against the comprehensive peace accord.

Maoist Center Chair Dahal said a joint appeal will be issued from the joint press conference to be held today and the Socialist Front will be formed in a few days.
Addressing a meeting of party central members working in Madhes province at the party central office (Perisdanda) on Saturday, he said that first a socialist front will be formed and then a debate will be started for greater unity of the communists.
