Prez Bhandari moving back to her private residence as her term expires today

President Bidya Devi Bhandari's tenure is ending today (March 12).

Ram Chandra Poudel has been elected as the new president for the next term. 

He is scheduled to take the oath of office tomorrow, Monday.

Before that, President Bhandari is about to move from Sheetal Niwas to her private residence as her five-year term is expiring today. 

Bhandari will move to her private residence in Budhanilkanth. Bhandari was elected as the President for the second time on March 13, 2018.

Prior to that, she became the President for the first time on October 28, 2015 after the promulgation of the Constitution.
