Outgoing President Bidya Devi Bhandari is leaving Sheetal Niwas today after almost 7 and a half years.
Bhandari, who has been president for two terms, is about to leave the presidential residence after her second term ended on March 12.
Bhandari's Chief Private Secretary Bheshraj Adhikari informed that the outgoing President Bhandari will leave Sheetal Niwas by 2 pm today.
"The swearing in of the newly elected President (Ramchandra Paudel) is at 1:00 p.m. I think the swearing-in program will be over by 1:30 p.m.," he said, "so she may move between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m."
Although it is certain that the outgoing President Bhandari will leave Sheetal Niwas today, it has not been decided where she will go. Because the renovation of his house at Budhanilkanth is going on.

Bhandari became the President for the first time on October 28, 2015 after the promulgation of the Constitution.
After the end of the first term, she was elected as the President for the second time on March 13m 2018.
She stayed in Sheetal Niwas for 7 years and 4 months after serving two terms.
Meanwhile, the newly elected President Ramchandra Paudel is scheduled to move from his private residence in Bohratar to Sheetal Niwas today, according to the President's Office.
