Vice Presidential candidate of Janata Samajbadi Party Pramila Kumari Yadav has withdrawn her candidacy.

She withdrew her candidacy after JSP decided to maintain Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav as the candidate for the post.

“I had filed my nomination for the vice presidential post on March 11,” said she, “The ruling coalition has decided to field Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, JSP Parliamentary Party leader, for the post. He is a senior leader who sacrificed and fought for the establishment of democracy. Hence, I have withdrawn my candidacy to support him.”
