Vice Presidential poll: NC directs MPs to cast votes for Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav

Nepali Congress (NC) has directed its members of parliament (MPs) to cast their votes for Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav in the vice presidential elections.

A central work execution committee (CWEC) meeting held at the central party office in Sanepa instructed lawmakers to cast votes for Yadav in the vice presidential elections scheduled for March 17.

“A central work execution committee meeting held today directed the MPs to cast votes in favor of Janata Samajbadi leader Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav,” informed Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, the spokesperson of the NC.

The meeting also instructed the concerned bodies to send a proposal and recommend the name of the candidate for the by-election of Chitwan 2.

The by-election for Chitwan 2 is set to be held on April 23, 2023.
