Top leaders of the 10-party alliance have decided to stand united for the vote of confidence to be taken by the government.

A meeting of the 10-party ruling alliance held in Baluwatar this evening took a decision to this effect.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is taking the vote of confidence on Monday (March 20).

The meeting also decided to stand united on the Bill on Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Amendment), 2079 to be tabled in the House of Representatives Sunday.

The CPN (UML) pulled out of the government after the eight-party alliance formed before the general elections stood together for the presidential election. The eight-party alliance has now become a 10-party alliance, of late.

Prime Minister Prachanda is planning to expand the government with the Nepali Congress after receiving the vote of confidence.

Top leaders of the ruling alliance including CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Prachanda, Janamat Party Chairman CK Raut, Nepal Samajbadi Party Dr Baburam Bhattarai were present in the meeting.
