FSU elections: Voting underway in 15 campuses, postponed in 11

Free Students' Union (FSU) election is underway in the campuses of Tribhuvan University across the country.

Elections are being held in 48 out of 62 private campuses and community campuses of Tribhuwan University TU.

Voting is ongoing in 15 campuses of Kathmandu Valley including the University. 

Sudesh Parajuli, the president of ANNFSU, the student organization of CPN Unified Socialist, told Nepalkhabar that the election of 11 campuses has been stopped.

According to him, due to lockdown in Nepal Commerce Campus, Baneshwar Multipurpose Campus, Koteshwar Multipurpose Campus and Gramin Adarsh Campus Manmaiju, the election has been postponed at the last moment.

Pashupati Campus Chabahil, Ayurvedic Campus Kirtipur, Trichandra Campus Ghantaghar, Patan Multiple Campus and Bishwabhasha, Ratnarajyalakshmi and Balmiki Campus have not registered nominations.

FSU members were elected unopposed in Buddhist Polytechnic Campus, Kantipur College Thali, Associate Polytechnic Gokarna and Kailashkut College Jayavageswari.

Voting started from 8 am and will continue till 4 pm.
