Demonstrators have pelted stones at the vehicle used by Chief Minister of Koshi Province Hikmat Karki.
Ethnic-based demonstrators attacked the Chief Minister’s vehicle and snatched away the flag. Meanwhile, the police have taken some protestors under control.
Ethnic-based groups including Kirat Yakthung Chumlung and Kirat Rai Yayokkha are staging demonstrations against naming Province 1 as ‘Koshi.’
