A meeting of the 10-party alliance convened at Baluwatar to finalize the distribution of ministerial portfolios has ended inconclusively.

The meeting which started at Baluwatar this afternoon ended with an agreement to meet at 9 am on Wednesday, said a leader privy to the meeting.

In the meeting, Nepali Congress laid a claim on nine ministries, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and CPN (Unified Socialist) Party three ministries each while Loktantrik Samajbadi Party claimed two ministries.

The common minimum program (CMP) was distributed in the meeting, according to a leader.

Party leaders will hold internal discussions on the CMP and put forth their official views in the meeting tomorrow, the leader said.
