Unified Socialist's Prakash Jwala and Beduram set to become ministers

Jwala to lead Physical Infrastructure, Beduram Education Ministry

A meeting of top leaders of the 10-party ruling alliance is taking place at Baluwatar.

CPN (Unified Socialist) Vice Chairman Beduram Bhusal and Deputy General Secretary Prakash Jwala are set to become ministers, said an office-bearer of the Unified Socialist. 

 An emergency secretariat meeting of the Unified Socialist convened on Wednesday had recommended names of Jwala and Bhusal for ministers. 

"Jwala will lead the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport. We had asked for the Ministry of Agriculture but it was not possible," said the leader, "Bhusal will get the Ministry of Education," 

They will take the oath of office and secrecy on Thursday. 

Participating in the meeting are Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Senior Vice Chairman of  the Maoist Center and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Narayan Kaji Shrestha, President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of Nepal Samajbadi Party Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, President of Janamat Party CK Raut, Chairman of Nagarik Unmukti Party Ranjita Shrestha among other leaders.
