Economist and candidate of Tanahun Constituency 1 from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Dr. Swarnim Wagle said that money is distorting politics.

He said so while speaking at a press conference held at the RSP Party's central office on Saturday.

He also said that it is necessary to remove such cultures as money has polluted politics. He said that democracy is also being distorted because of this bad culture.

"Even though there is a practice of buying and selling of tickets in other old parties, there has been no interference here," said Wagle, "It is said that there is a deal up to Rs 100 million for a lucrative ministry."

"If it becomes so expensive to get a ticket, how much will the election expenses be?," asked Wagle.

He also said that he got the ticket in the RSP without any hassles.
