Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), CPN (UML), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) have filed their candidacies from Bara-2 for the by elections to be held on April 23.
JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav, RSP’s Ramesh Kharel, UML’s Purusottam Paudel, Janamat Party’s Shiva Chandra Kushwaha, NUP’s Kamarullah Mansur have registered their candidacies today.
JSP Chairman’s candidacy was proposed by Nawal Kishor Yadav and his candidacy was seconded by Narayan Yadav. Following the registration of his candidacy, Yadav expressed his confidence that he would win the elections.
RSP’s candidate Kharel said he filed his candidacy according to the spirit of the people.
“People in Madhes have been deprived of good education,” said Kharel, “As a former security officer, I will devote for the sake of good governance, education and security.”
Similarly, NUP has fielded its candidacy against the decision of the ruling alliance.
NUP’s candidate Ansari was proposed by Ram Chandra Chaudhary and his candidacy was seconded by Dipendra Kumar Sah.
In Bara-2, JSP Chairman Yadav garners support from Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), and Loktantrik Samajbadi Party.
Similarly, RPP’s Sonelal Yadav Teli has filed his candidacy from Bara-2. His candidacy was proposed Ajay Raut and seconded by Harichandra Prasad Chaudhary.
