Govinda Acharya appointed PM’s Press Advisor

Govinda Acharya has been appointed as Press Advisor to PM.

Govinda Acharya has been appointed as the Press Advisor to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

Prime Minister Prachanda appointed Acharya as his Press Advisor on Monday, Prime Minister’s Secretariat told Nepalkhabar.

Acharya had served as the Press advisor to Prachanda when he was appointed as the prime minister for the second time in 2073 BS.

Former President of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), he had also served as the chairperson of the Minimum Wages Fixation Committee.

He has worked as journalists for various media outlets in different capacities.

Similarly, Ramdeep Acharya has been appointed as the Administrative Liaison Expert, and Buddhi GC and Devendra Parajuli as liaison experts.

Haribol Gajurel had been appointed as the Political Advisor to the Prime Minister.

Likewise, Manahari Timalsina has been appointed as Press Expert, Surya Kiran Sharma as press coordinator.

Gokarna Prasad Bhatta had been appointed as Deputy Personal Secretary and Prakash Rayamajhi as IT Expert.

On December 25 (last year), when Prachanda was appointed as the Prime Minister, Santa Kumar Darai had been appointed as chief personal secretary, Ramesh Malla and Ganga Dahal as personal secretaries. Similarly, Pradeep Raj Onta is the photo specialist to the Prime Minister.
