Tatopani checkpoint coming into full operation

Tatopani checkpoint in Sindhupalchowk is coming into full operation after the Rasuwagadhi checkpoint.

This checkpoint will be closed from April 11 to 17 for the preparation to resume previously closed border, according to the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu.

"Preparations have been made to resume the two-way cargo transfer", the Chinese Embassy in Nepal said on Monday, "For the same preparation, an agreement has been reached between the People's Government of Tibet Autonomous Region and the local government of Nepal."

With this, Tatopani border will remain temporarily closed from April 11 to April 17 for preparation of cargo exchange, the embassy said.
