Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kiranti has said that it has not yet been confirmed that a bird hit the plane of Fly Dubai, which had a technical problem.

Immediately after taking off from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Monday night, a flash of fire was seen from the plane of Fly Dubai with a loud noise.

Tourism Minister Kiranti said, "I would like to make it clear to everyone that it has not yet been proven that the bird hit the plane."

The pilot made a decision to continue the flight after checking all the indicators of the plane after holding it for a while in the sky above Dhading. The ATC at the airport tower also allowed the plane to fly to its destination.

According to Fly Dubai, the aircraft, which had technical problems, landed safely at Dubai International Airport.

Meanwhile, the regulator Nepal Civil Aviation Authority (CAAN) has said that it has not been confirmed that a bird struck a Fly Dubai plane that flew from Kathmandu to Dubai on Monday night.
