Renowned American rapper Takeoff was shot dead in Houston, The Guardian reported.
Artists, celebrities and fans from around the globe are mourning the death of 28-year-old Take-off, a member of the hip-hop group popularly known as Migos.
Social media have been awash with condolences from hip-hop fans from across the world including Nepal.
According to Houston Police Chief Troy Finner, he was shot and killed on Tuesday morning in the bowling alley.
Rapper Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was seen by some people as he collapsed on the road.
So far, no one has been arrested in connection with the rapper Takeoff’s death. According to local media, the rapper may have been killed before the police officially announced his death.
Migos, a band to which Takeoff belongs, gained popularity in 2013 following the remixing of the group’s song.
This band has posted four famous songs in the Billboard Hot Hundred’s tally.
