Meetings of ten thematic committees under the House of Representatives (HoR) are underway in their respective offices at Singha Durbar on Tuesday.
All committee meetings are chaired by senior members of the thematic committees.
The Public Accounts Committee is chaired by Nepali Congress MP Arjun Narasingha KC, a senior member of the committee.
The Infrastructure Development Committee is chaired by Nagarik Unmukti Party MP Lalbir Chaudhary while the International Relations and Tourism Committee is chaired by Rastriya Prajatantra Party MP Pashupati Samsher Rana.
Similarly, Ranendra Baraili, MP of CPN (Maoist Center) is the chairman of Industry and Commerce and Labor and Consumer Welfare Committee, Janata Samajbadi Party MP Nawal Kishor Sah is the chairman of Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee, Education and Health Committee is chaired by CPN (UML) MP Kaluram Rai.
The Chairman of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee is Rastriya Janamorcha MP Chitra Bahadur KC.
Likewise, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee meeting is chaired by Nepali Congress MP Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Women and Social Affairs Committee is chaired by Rastriya Prajatantra Party MP Roshan Karki and the Finance Committee is chaired by Nepali Congress MP Santosh Chalise.
