Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Speaker Devraj Ghimire have held a meeting today (Tuesday).
In the meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, two leaders discussed the House meeting, policies and programs, and the budget, Prime Minister’s Secretariat said.
Prime Minister Prachanda said that the parliament has now got into a rhythm as the meeting of all the parliamentary committees started today.
Dahal said, "It, I expect, will be easier to finalize the pending bills in the Parliament."
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Prachanda praised the efforts made by Speaker Ghimire for coordination and cooperation with all parties for running the Parliament.
Prime Minister Prachanda also informed that the government is preparing to present policies and programs on May 19.
Speaker Ghimire also expressed his gratitude for the support received from the government and political parties for smoothly running the House.
"Committee meetings have started enthusiastically from today," said Ghimire, "Parliament Secretariat has already prepared the policies and programs and budget."
