Bagmati govt gets full shape after 58 days

Newly elected ministers taking oath from Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma on Sunday.

Bagmati Province government has got a full shape after 58 days of the formation of the provincial government.

The province government got a full shape after the leaders agreed to add one more ministerial portfolio.

Six ministers – five ministries and one without portfolio -- have been appointed from Nepali Congress and CPN (Unified Socialist).

Laxman Lal Karna has been appointed as Minister for Labor, Employment and Transport, Rajendra Man Shrestha (Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development), Masina Khadka (Minister for Forest and Environment, Pukar Maharjan (Industry, Tourism and Cooperatives), while Uttam Josh has been appointed as Minister for Health.

Similarly, Ram Krishna Chitrakar has been appointed as a minister without portfolio.

The newly elected ministers have taken the oath of office and secrecy today itself.

Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected ministers amidst a program today.
