Janamat Party has recommended the expulsion of two members of parliament (MPs).

A central member of the party informed that action was recommended against two proportional MPs over the violation of the party discipline.

The disciplinary action was recommended against proportional MPs Sonu Murmar and Binita Singh, the sources said.

"The action has been recommended to the parliamentary party to remove them from the party because they did not obey the instructions of the party. Their performance in the parliament was not good and the local party cadres were angry," the central member told Nepalkhabar.

Both of them are proportional MPs. Murmar is Morang and Singh is from Siraha.

The meeting held on Friday has decided to amend the constitution and expand the Central Committee. Currently, Janamat Party has a 151-member central committee.
