Ganga Secondary School based in Rampur municipality-8 in Palpa has introduced a new culture of teaching and learning.

Both students and guardians feel different when they enter the school promises. What the entrants first notice as soon as they enter the school compound is an attractive garden full of kids playing.

Ganga school has initiated this new culture of teaching with a belief that students will learn more effectively in a fun-filled educational environment, said the headmaster of the school.

The children’s garden has been built by former government official Krishna Prasad Paudel and Govinda Prasad Paudel in memory of their late parents Jayalal and Kaushalya Devi at the cost of Rs 2 million.

On October 9, this new child garden was inaugurated by a Japanese citizen Kazumasa Kakimi.

There are eight swings, slides, among others in the garden where 50 to 60 kids can play at a time.

This garden has promoted a new culture of learning through sports, said the Paudel family.
