20 public institutions deemed irrelevant to be dumped

The licenses of twenty public institutions considered to be irrelevant will be scrapped.

Unveiling the budget for the fiscal year 2023/24 today, Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat announced that 20 public institutions without relevancy will be dumped.

He mentioned that according to the suggestions provided by the Public Expenditure Review Commission 2075 in the budget, a decision has been taken to cancel the institutions that are irrelevant and to merge some of them.
