The government has relaxed the restrictions enforced on the land plotting.
Unveiling the budget for the fiscal year 2023/24 on Monday, Finance Minister Dr. Prakasharan Mahat said that the restriction imposed on the plotting of lands has been removed.
The land plotting had been stopped for some time.
However, he has not revealed how the land will be classified.
Minister Mahat further said that he will encourage the use of paper and cloth bags as a plan to revive the ailing economy of the country.
