NMB Bank robbed in broad daylight in Mahottari (with video)

The branch office of NMB Bank based in Mahottari Bazaar has been robbed in a broad daylight.

An armed group barged into the bank on Tuesday afternoon and looted it.

According to District Police Office (DPO) Mahottari, a group of four people robbed the bank at gunpoint.

A CCTV footage of the bank robbery has been released, in which four masked men are seen enter the bank with pistols.

The CCTV footage shows that they entered the counter after putting the customers aside.

There is no definite data on how much money was stolen from the bank. According to a preliminary report of the police, around Rs 35 to 38 lakhs were stolen.

Police said they have launched a manhunt to nab the absconding robbers.
