PM Dahal to stay at Hotel Maurya in Delhi, meet Modi at Hyderabad House at 11 am

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is holding a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in Delhi on Thursday at 11 am (June 1).

After becoming the Prime Minister of Nepal for the third time, Dahal is arriving on a four-day official visit to India on a Nepal Airlines plane on Wednesday afternoon.

According to an official at the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi, the official meeting at Hyderabad House has been scheduled for 11 am (Thursday). Prior to that, Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to pay his respects at Mahatma Gandhi's mausoleum.

Prime Minister Dahal's press adviser Govinda Acharya said that the meeting is scheduled for 11 am and that there will be bilateral and multilateral talks. After the bilateral talks at Hyderabad House, Dahal and Modi are scheduled to address a joint press conference there.

Prime Minister Dahal is expected to be received at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Wednesday by officials of the Ministry of External Affairs, including a Minister of State of the Government of India. From the airport, Prime Minister Dahal will arrive at the hotel ITC Maurya, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi's security adviser Ajit Doval and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar are scheduled to meet with Dahal.

Doval, the national security advisor of Prime Minister Modi, is considered decisive in the neighborhood policy. On Wednesday, Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra will also meet with Dahal at the hotel.

On Wednesday evening, the Nepali Embassy in Delhi will organize a reception in honor of Prime Minister Dahal. Where Dahal will address the expatriate Nepalis in India.

On the second day of the visit, after meeting with his counterpart Modi on Thursday, Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to have a courtesy meeting with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jaideep Dhankhar.

Prime Minister Dahal will address businessmen from Nepal and India at Hotel Maurya on Thursday evening.

On the third day of the visit, Prime Minister Dahal will visit Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh and visit Indore city on Friday. It is planned to spend that night in Indore, which is about an hour and a half flight away from Delhi. In Indore, which is known as the cleanest city in India, Prime Minister Dahal is prepared to be apprised of how the garbage is managed.

After coming back to Delhi from Indore on Saturday, Dahal is scheduled to return to Kathmandu.

Prime Minister Dahal's India visit entourage consists of 49 members including five ministers, two advisers and two private secretaries, four security personnel and four government media persons.

During Prime Minister Dahal's India visit, industrialists and media persons from the private sector will come to Delhi at their own expense and under their own management.
