Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has landed in the capital city New Delhi during his four-day visit to India.
He was received by India's Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
Lekhi, who is also the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has been serving as India's Minister of State for External Affairs since July 7, 2021. S. Jaishankar is the incumbent Minister for External Affairs of India.
Prime Minister Prachanda and his visiting entourage have now reached the hotel in Delhi.
Officials of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs along with State Minister Lekhi reached the airport to welcome Prachanda.
To welcome Prachanda, the Indian government also sent a team with a special cultural tableau to the airport.
Prachanda left Tribhuvan International Airport on a flight number RA 217 of Nepal Airlines for Delhi at 13:35 on Wednesday afternoon for a four-day visit to India.
Prime Minister Dahal was bidden adieu by Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Chairman of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, ministers, representatives of the Constitutional Commission and among others.
