Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that some important agreements will be signed during the meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Thursday.
Prachanda said this while addressing the dinner reception organized at the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi on Wednesday evening.
"I will have a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow on June 1", he said, "Some important agreements will also be signed during the meeting."
He further said that this time he has gone on a visit to India to further enhance the people-to-people relations to a new height.
"This visit of mine will take our bilateral relations to a higher level", he said, "Nepal is in favor of maintaining mutual relations with all friendly countries." Such visits from time to time will strengthen our relationship.
During his speech, he also praised the Nepalis in India.
"Nepalis in every part of the world have contributed to raise the image of Nepal", he said, "I believe that the skills you have studied and traveled in India will be used in Nepal."
He also claimed that after he became the prime minister, he took some steps to improve the economy and got positive results.
"The economy is getting stronger due to the steps taken by me", he said, "Remittances are also increasing." Foreign currency reserves have also increased.
Similarly, Prime Minister Prachanda also said that the government is committed to providing voting rights to Nepalis living abroad.
