Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Nepal-India bilateral relations have improved a lot since he became the Prime Minister of India in 2014.
Indian Prime Minister Modi said this while holding a joint press conference at Hyderabad House in Delhi during Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda's India visit.
He further said that after becoming the prime minister, he first visited Nepal and worked so that the border would not be obstructed.
Meanwhile, he said that diesel export through pipeline, electricity export from Nepal to India has been facilitated.
“In 9 years, our partnership has really become hit,” he said, 'Days go by if we describe the achievements of the year, we now have made an important decision to make it a super-hit in the future.”
During the India visit, nine points of bilateral agreement were signed between the two countries.
In a joint press conference, Indian Prime Minister Modi gave information on the bilateral agreement on lower Arun, electricity export to Bangladesh through Indian route, 480 MW Phukot Karnali, Pancheshwar multi-purpose project, petroleum pipeline, cross border digital payment etc.
