After wrapping up his four-day official visit to India, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has left for Kathmandu.
Prime Minister Prachanda, leading an 88-member delegation, who arrived in India on May 31 for a 4-day visit to India, is about to return home from Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs of India, bid farewell to the team including Prime Minister Prachanda at the airport.
Officials of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with State Minister Lekhi also reached the airport to welcome Prachanda. Lekhi, who is also the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has been serving as India's Minister of State for External Affairs since July 7, 2021.
S. Jaishankar is the incumbent Minister for External Affairs of India.
The Indian government also sent a team of a special cultural tableau to the airport to welcome and bid farewell to Prachanda.
Prachanda had left Tribhuvan International Airport on flight number RA 217 for Delhi at 13:35 on Wednesday afternoon for a four-day official visit to India.
