Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said he raised the issues of Kalapani, Lipulek and Limpiyadhura during his visit to India.
He said this while responding to the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Monday about his four-day official visit to India.
“We have to solve these problems. Nepal-India relations cannot be improved until these problems are solved", he said, "The relationship between the two countries will be taken to a height of the Himalayas."
Intellectuals have said that the Bangladeshi model can be adopted to solve the border problem. They said that they can exchange Kalapani if they can find a way to Bangladesh, Prachanda said.
He said that the matter of exchanging eastern checkpoint with Kalapani was not his but that of the experts.
"I have made it clear that Kalapani Limpiyadhura and Lipulekh are ours so that there is no confusion," he said.
