The government has decided to convert the industrial village located in Panchkhal Municipality of Kavrepalanchowk into a special industrial village for women entrepreneurs.
A cabinet meeting held on Wednesday took a decision to this effect.
Likewise, the cabinet meeting appointed joint secretary Madan Bhujel as the chairman of the Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee, informed Communication and Information Technology Minister Rekha Sharma.
The meeting has decided to issue an order prohibiting strikes in essential services in line with Section 3 (1) of the Essential Services Operation Act 2014.
The Cabinet has decided to allow Upper Mailung Khola Jal vidhyut Limited to use the national forest area of Rasuwa and Nuwakot for the project's tower right of way.
With the decision, the trees along the forest area now can be removed.
Minister Sharma informed that the visit of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah to participate in the program of ‘Metropolis World Congress and Brussels Urban Summit 2023’ to be held in Brussels, Belgium from June 12 to 15 has been approved.
Similarly, she said that the Council of Ministers has given approval to submit the bill to the Federal Parliament to regulate power trade.
