CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the current ruling coalition can continue for 15-20 years, not just for the next five years.

Speaking at a conversation with a Japanese media on Sunday, Prachanda claimed that the current ruling coalition will continue for 15-20 years.

"This is an alliance formed for stability, prosperity and protection of the constitution," he said, adding, "the suspicion and propaganda that the alliance will break after the election is not correct."

"This alliance will continue until the Oli trend is defeated," he said. "It has a long life as it is built with a lot of efforts. This alliance should and will last for 15-20 years."

Meanwhile, Prachanda also claimed that Oli had moved ahead with the plan to seize power when he was the prime minister. To prove his claim, he cited the story of two buildings that have been constructed in Baluwatar, the prime minister's residence.

"When Oli was the prime minister, the construction of two big buildings started there, since it was the Prime Minister's residence, it was right to build one, but the construction of the other building was mysterious," he shared a story told by Madhav Nepal, chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist).

According to Prachanda, Oli had constructed these two buildings with an intention of living in Baluwatar throughout his life by seizing the power.
