Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the current government has launched an anti-graft campaign in favor of good governance.

He said this while answering the questions raised about the budget allocated for the offices of the President, Vice President and Prime Minister for the next fiscal year 2023-24.

I had expressed commitments in the Parliament that good governance will be the government's top priority. There were disenchantment, dissatisfaction and fury against the state among the people, but now it has improved, he said, "People's trust in the state and the government has increased."

The illusion that high profile people are above the law has been broken.

He further said that anyone who is found guilty in violating the law by forging fake refugee documents will be punished.
