Foreigner Minister NP Saud, who is also the leader of the Nepali Congress, has said that there is no possibility of forming a new alliance with the CPN (UML).
In a press conference organized by Nepal Press Union Dadeldhura branch at the district headquarters on Saturday, Minister Saud said that the rumor that the Congress is going to quit the current ruling alliance to form a new alliance with UML is baseless.
He claimed that there was no possibility of meeting with the UML, saying that the Congress had not forgotten the incident of December 25, 2022.
"The Nepali Congress is still concerned about the incident of December 25. We have to learn from history," Minister Saud said, 'therefore there is no possibility of forming a coalition government with UML and Nepali Congress."
On January December 25 last year, after the CPN (UML) initially offered to become the prime minister, Prachanda, the chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), suddenly broke the alliance with the Nepali Congress and formed a new alliance.
But later during the presidential election, when things did not work out, UML and other parties left the government, and the old alliance with the Congress was revived.
