KIKUTA Yutaka, ambassador of Japan to Nepal has congratulated to Nepali ambassador to Japan Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi on the occassion of his credential presentation.
Subedi presented his credentials to the emperor of Japan at a special ceremony held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Monday. In a message, the Japanese ambassador said that Japan and Nepal have enjoyed long history of friendly relationship, and he is glad that the emperor received the credentials by
new Ambassador.
The ambassador's credential marks the 120th anniversary since the first eight Nepali students were dispatched to Japan for their studies.
"Ambassador Kikuta is looking forward to working with His Excellency Dr. Subedi for further promoting the bilateral relations and friendship between Japan and Nepal," read a statement issued by Japanese embassy in Kathmandu.
