FM Saud meets with his Indian counterpart in BIMSTEC sideline meeting

Foreign Minister NP Saud has held a meeting with Minister for External Affairs of Indian S Jaishankar in Bangkok, Thailand on Monday.

Minister Saud met with his Indian counterpart on the sideline of a meeting of foreign ministers of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) member countries today.

Both the leaders have said the sideline meeting taken place on the occasion of the two-day meeting of the BIMSTEC foreign ministers held in Bangkok proved to be fruitful.

Indian Minister for External Affairs Jaishankar said the meeting has been fruitful.

“Good meeting with Nepal Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud. Agreed to work closely to implement the agenda of cooperation set out by our leaderships. Look forward to remaining in touch,” Jaishankar tweeted.
