UAE A has set a 158-run target for Nepal in a cricket match of the ACC Men's Emerging Cup underway at P Sara Oval, Colombo on Wednesday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, UAE A notched up 157 runs losing all wickets in 44 overs.
Lovepreet Singh topped the score with 52 runs including six fours and one six off 82 deliveries. Similarly, Ethan D'Souza, Ashwanth Valthapa, Aryansh Sharma and Jash Giyanani made 18, 16 and 14, 13 respectively. The batsmen could not reach the double-digit runs.
In reply, Kushal Bhurtel grabbed the highest six wickets while Mousom Dhakal and Pawan Sarraf took two and one wicket for Nepal.
