Swimmer Gaurika Singh has set a new national record.
Gaurika set a new record in the World Aquatics Championships 2023 underway in Fukuoka, Japan.
Gaurika broke her own record by completing the 50-meter backstroke in 00:31:44 seconds. Earlier, she had covered the distance in 00:31:87 seconds.
Similarly, she had earlier completed the 100-meter backstroke in1 minute 06:80 seconds.
