The cabinet has been expanded for the sixth time in Madhes Pradesh after two ministers from Janamat Party led by CK Raut tendered resignations on Monday.
One minister and one state minister from Janamat Party resigned today in Madhesh Province.
Chief Minister Saroj Yadav expanded the cabinet on Monday afternoon. The expanded cabinet now has two state ministers and 12 ministers.
Minister without portfolio Basanta Kushahawa and Minister of State without portfolio Sanjay Kumar Yadav submitted their resignations today to Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav.
Chief Minister Yadav reshuffled the cabinet on Monday after both the ministers from Janamat Party tendered resignations.
Mohammad Samim of Nepali Congress has now become the Minister for Home, Communications and Law.
Similarly, Chandan Singh has been appointed as the Minister for Labor and Transport from Janamat Party.
The newly appointed ministers have already taken charge of the office after Province Chief Harishankar Mishra administered the oath of office and secrecy to them this afternoon.
