Petrol, diesel price up; LP gas cylinder price down

The price of petroleum products has increased in Nepal. The state-owned Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased petrol price by Rs 9 per liter and kerosene and diesel price by Rs 7 per liter. It will come into effect from 12.00 tonight.

NOC said that the price hike decision was taken after India increased the price in the supply of petroleum products.

With this, petroleum will now cost Rs 170 per liter in Group A, Rs 172 in Group B, and Rs 173 in Group C.

Likewise, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 150 per liter in Group A, Rs 152 in Group B, and Rs 153 in Group C.

The price of the LP gas cylinder however has been reduced to Rs 1,660. As informed, Rs 130 has been reduced per cylinder.
