Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav will embark on a visit to China prior to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda's China visit.
Vice President will leave for China to participate in the South Asian Expo to be held in Kunming of South China in the coming week.
This is the seventh edition of the Expo which the northern neighbor has been organizing every year. "The Solidary and Cooperation for Common Development" is the main topic for discussion this year.
Yunnan Province government is the organizer of this Expo this year.
"China has already sent an invitation letter to Vice President Yadav. Vice President's preparations are underway, accordingly," the source said, "However, it has yet to be announced officially."
Earlier, outgoing Vice President Nanda Bahadur Puna and former Vice President Parmanand Jha had attended the Expo.
The Expo will be held on August 16-20.
"It's almost confirmed that Vice President Yadav will attend the Expo representing Nepal even though his visit has not been officially announced," sources have said, "His China visit is made public officially once all the preparations are over."
