Former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has expressed commitment that he would fully assist in the investigation into Lalita Niwas land case.

Posting a message on a social networking site, Bhattarai, who is also the Chairman of Nepal Samajbadi Party, expressed his commitments to do so on Monday morning after the Supreme Court issued an order to investigate those involved in the policy-level decision-making processes on the Lalita Niwas land scam.

"Anyone regardless of how high position she/she holds should be brought under the ambit of court if they are found involved in all the cabinet-level decision-making processes on issues including the Lalita Niwas case violating the law. I humbly request the government and the concerned body to impartially investigate all the cabinet decisions made during my tenure as the Prime Minister of Nepal," reads the message.

He further said that he is ready to assist the government in the investigation into the Lalita Niwas land case as per the order issued by the Supreme Court.

Bhattarai has also made public his statement given during the investigation carried out by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority a few week earlier.
