Forty-one migrants have died in a shipwreck off the Italian island of Lampedusa, BBC reported.
A boat with 45 people onboard sailing to Italy from Sfax in Tunisia capsized, a group of four migrants who survived the shipwreck told rescuers.
The four survivors, originally from the Ivory Coast and Guinea, reached Lampedusa on Wednesday, according to the news reports.
More than 1,800 people lost their lives so far this year while crossing from North Africa to Europe.
