People’s Hydropower Company issues IPO

People’s Hydropower Company Ltd. has issued initial public offerings (IPO) to the general people today (Friday).

The company had already issued the IPO to the locals affected by the project.

According to the company it has issued 5,606,390 units of shares for the public for Rs 100 per unit effective from today.

Of the total units of shares issued, 168,190 units have been put aside for the staffers of the company, 280,320 for the collective investment fund and the remaining 5,157,880 units have been allocated for the public, said the company.

 The company has said that the general people can subscribe for a minimum of 10 units of primary shares to the maximum of 100,000 shares by November 15.

Sanima Capital Limited is the issue manager for the issuance of the IPO.

People’s Hydropower Company Ltd is constructing the 54-megawatt Super Dordi Hydropower (B). Care Ratings Nepal Ltd. has assigned CARE-NP-BB (IS) grading to this company.

Investors can subscribe for the primary shares through the website of the MeroShare, mobile app and banks and financial institutions associated with the ASBA system permitted by the Security Boards of Nepal (SEBON).
