The price of petroleum products has gone up.

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) on Tuesday hiked the price of petrol by Rs 5 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 14 each.

With the price-hike, petrol will now cost Rs 175 and diesel and kerosene Rs 164.5 each per liter, NOC sources said.

The new price will take effect from Wednesday.

The Nepal government has also decided to adjust the price as per the market price of petrol and diesel in India.
