Koshi Chief Minister Uddhav Thapa is taking the vote of confidence on Monday itself.
Thapa, who was appointed as the Chief Minister for the second time on August 1, is going to take the vote of confidence after 20 days.
Indra Bahadur Angbo, the leader of the ruling coalition CPN (Maoist Center) Parliamentary Party, said Thapa will take the vote of confidence today itself.
Thapa will take the vote of confidence in line with Article 188 of the Constitution, added Angbo.
Since Deputy Speaker Sirjana Danuwar is in Kathmandu for treatment, the Provincial Assembly meeting will be chaired by senior-most member of the Nepali Congress, Israili Mansuri.
The ruling alliance has brought a new formula to garner the majority i.e. 47 MPs by counting the vote of Mansuri.
Maoist Center MP Durga Chapagain said that Congress MP Israel Mansuri, who is presiding over the state assembly meeting, will also vote for the majority.
