President Bhandari returns home from Iceland

Wrapping up her six-day visit to Iceland, President Bidya Devi Bhandari returned home on Saturday. 

Upon her arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, President Bhandari was received by Vice- President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chairman of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and other high-ranking government officials.

In Iceland, President Bhandari delivered a keynote address at Reykjavik Global Forum- Women Leaders and also received the WPL Trailblazer Award 2022. She was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal, her press advisor Tika Prasad Dhakal and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President's Office and Prime Minister's Office.
