A high-level delegation of the CPN (UML) led by General Secretary Shankar Pokharel left for China on Saturday evening, UML Publicity Department Secretary Gagan Bista informed.
According to Bista, there are 22 leaders including the central members in the delegation that left for the North at the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party.
The visiting team includes party standing committee member and head of the foreign affairs department Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, standing committee member and head of the publicity department Rajendra Gautam, chairman of All Nepal Women's Association Dukabhadra Hamal, and other central-level leaders.
The team will visit the three main cities of the Republic of China Chongqing, Beijing, and Qinghai for 13 days.
During the visit, various aspects of bilateral relations between Nepal and China and dimensions of party relations between UML and the Communist Party of China (CPC) will be discussed, UML Propaganda Department Secretary Bista informed.
During the visit, the UML leader will meet with high-level leaders of the Communist Party of China.
