Minister Kirati stresses for branding of Nepali culture in global market

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, has laid emphasis for branding of Nepali culture in the global market.

At a program organized by Khemraj Gurung Trust here on Wednesday on the occasion of Gurung's seventh death anniversary, Minister Kirati mentioned as Nepal's culture and nature are gem, Nepal should be able to brand them in the global market.

He further said Nepal is naturally, religiously and culturally rich, big and beautiful, stating that Mt Everest,  Gautam Buddha, Pashupatinath, different customs, languages, culture are the assets of the Nepali people.

Tourism Minister Kirati shared that the country could earn more foreign currencies through its nature and culture only if it could be able to attract the people of the world towards its culture, tradition and nature.

He viewed that the state would honour the personalities contributing to the nation through music.

On the occasion, he awarded Bhajan Shitomanu Bhaktaraj Acharya with 'Shrashta Samman' and senior lyricist Tulasi Basnet with 'Pratibha Puraskar'.
